Project Manager, Translation

Translation Services: Our Translation and Localization Business Unit specializes in delivering accurate and culturally nuanced translations across various industries. Whether it's legal documents, marketing materials, or technical manuals, we ensure precision and clarity in every translation project.

Interpreting Services: Our Interpreting Business Unit excels in providing on-demand interpreting solutions for conferences, meetings, and events of all scales for large public and private organizations. Our project management department handles an average of more than 700 interpreting services per day provided around the world.

Intellectual Property: Seprotec’ s Intellectual Property Business Unit offers a comprehensive range of professional IP solutions to corporations and law firms that streamline IP operations, assisting clients with every patent or trademark issue, in any jurisdiction and any language and on a proprietary platform.

We're currently looking for a Project Manager for the Translation department for our Krakow office.

Reporting directly to the Team Lead, this role will be responsible for:

  • Preparing budgets for translation services and projects following clients’ requirements.
  • Receiving service evaluations and measure project performance rates, relaying the information to Team Leads.
  • Soliciting quotations and overview purchasing of supplies and services.
  • Researching and selecting potential suppliers. Overviewing suppliers' service quality.
  • Coordinating project resources, tasks and deliverables as well as monitoring the development of project stages.
  • Identifying potential non-conformities in the company, as well as detecting potential Preventive Actions.
  • Identifying and suggesting improvements regarding the QMS.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Minimum requirements

  • Previous experience in project management positions. Experience in similar translation services companies is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Translation, Interpreting, Literature, Linguistics or similar. Training in Translation, Revision Techniques or similar will be highly valuable.
  • Fluency in English. Other languages highly valuable.
  • User level of common office tools (Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge and experience with Computer Assisted Translation tools (CAT TOOLS: SDLX, TRADOS).
  • Availability to work on a hybrid model (4 days per week remotely, 1 day per week on-site).

  • Relevant experience in similar roles.
